Born and bred in New Zealand, Sam makes commercials for a living – a founding partner in award-winning creative agency, Pitchblack Partners. He's picked up a cache of metal from Cannes Lions, D&AD and the Webby Awards for his advertising work, but what he really values is a wreath or seven on the poster for his latest short film.

If you’ve seen David Correos recently – Taskmaster NZ, Burger King ads, blowing up on TikTok – you’ll know he’s always experimenting with comedy. Like someone tinkering away in their shed only to reveal a new car that’s part hot rod, part motorcycle and part toaster. He just won’t settle for less when he knows there’s always more out there, and boy does he go out there. He’s a space probe that’s reached Neptune and decided that’s not far enough, let’s keep going bb!
